What This Category Covers

Comfort upgrades the factory didn't include.

If your vehicle didn't come with heated seats, cooled seats, or lumbar support — we add them. Professionally installed aftermarket systems with switches mounted to suit your interior. For certain Toyota models we can source OEM-style switches; for most other vehicles, switches are aftermarket but placed to look intentional.

Real heat. Real cool. Installed like we mean it.

Best installed during a leather job since the seats are already apart, but standalone install works fine. The decision guide below helps you pick which combination is right for you.

Comfort Upgrades

Mix and match what you need.

Three service pages covering heated, cooled, lumbar, and massage. Most customers do one or two; some do them all at install time.

Decision Guide

Which combination is right for you?

If you always run cold and don't see yourself needing seat cooling...
Go with Heated Seats only. If you're always feeling cold, the ROI on cooling isn't there for you. Save the budget for other upgrades. Conversely, if you always run warm, consider adding vented seats.
If you're already adding leather and want the full comfort package...
Bundle Heated & Cooled with the leather job. Bundle pricing applies because the seats are out anyway, and you get three levels of both heat and cooling.
If you have back issues or do long highway commutes...
Add Lumbar & Massage. Even on their own (without leather work), they're small upgrades that pay back every drive — lumbar for support, massage for recovery.
If you want all three...
Best done at the same time as a leather install. The seats are already coming apart for the leather work, so adding all three comfort systems is the most efficient. Quote within one business day.
What Goes Into Your Quote

Pricing depends on system + install context.

Standalone install vs. bundled with leather, front-only vs. front + rear, perforation if you're adding cooled seats. Tell us your vehicle and what you want and we'll send a clear quote within one business day.

Better pricing than we could put in writing here.

Common Questions

What people ask across all three.

How long do these installs take?
Heated seats (front): about a morning — same-day return is possible but next-day pickup is preferred. Heated & cooled: at least two business days (more involved — air-pull infrastructure goes in alongside the heating). Lumbar: about a morning. Massage: typically one business day. Bundled with a leather install: adds only a few hours to the leather timeline since the seats are already apart.
Anything special needed to add cooled seats?
Yes — cooled seats require perforated leather so the air can pull through. If you're doing a new leather install at the same time, the panels go in perforated from the start (Katzkin or custom). If your existing leather isn't perforated, we don't poke holes in your current cover — instead, we can modify the existing seat covers so the cooling system works. We'll spec exactly what's possible when we quote.
Where do the switches go and what do they look like?
Switches mount in a sensible location for your vehicle — seat side, center console, or wherever fits cleanly into your interior. For most vehicles, these are aftermarket switches placed to look intentional (not stuck to your dashboard with adhesive). For certain Toyota models we can source OEM-style switches that match your factory dash. We'll spec exactly what's possible when we quote.
Best to bundle or do separately?
Bundle if you're doing leather anyway. Separate install costs more relative to the bundle because we have to pull the seats just for the comfort work. If you're only ever doing comfort (not leather), bundling doesn't matter — just standalone is fine.
What about rear seats?
Heated rear seats are available on most vehicles for an additional cost. Cooling on the rear is less common but available on some configurations. Lumbar is generally front-only.
What's the warranty?
All comfort systems carry a 3-year / 36,000-mile manufacturer warranty — Degreez by Katzkin and Induction System by Champion (heated & cooled); Katzkin Carbotex and Champion heating blankets (heated only); Rostra/Voxx (lumbar); Champion Auto Systems (massage). Plus we stand behind every install we do.
