Real leather. Installed and secured, not slipped over.

A Katzkin installation completely replaces your factory cloth seats with custom-cut leather panels for your specific make and model. We remove the OEM seat covers, install Katzkin's covers, and re-integrate any heated seat systems, and side airbags — all without compromising any of them.

We don't just place covers over your seats. We replace them. You will feel the difference.

Katzkin kits are designed at OEM tolerance — the leather sits on the seat the way the factory upholstery did. Same fit, same airbag deployment paths, same controls. Katzkin is also the only aftermarket leather company with full airbag certification. What changes is the material, the look, and the way your interior holds up over a decade of daily driving.

Color and finish options aren't limited. Over 120 colors, plus contrast piping, custom stitching patterns, perforations, diamond stitching, and embroidery — you're not picking from three or four catalog combos.

Most installs are completed in one business day. Drop-off is the standard pattern for retail. Dealer partners get pickup as part of the service.

Katzkin manufactures the covers for your exact year, make, and model. Lead time is typically 1–2 weeks.

Drop-Off Day

Drive over to our Beaverton shop — safe and easy parking. Pickup is available for retail customers as a paid option (parking required for our runner's vehicle).

Install Day

We remove your factory covers, fit the Katzkin covers by hand, re-integrate heated seats and airbags, test everything.

Same-Day Return

Most jobs back to you the same business day. Walk-around, warranty card, keys back. Drive away in your new interior.

Common Questions

What people ask before they book.

Is Katzkin safe with my airbags?
Yes — and this matters. Katzkin is the only aftermarket leather company with airbag certification, meaning every kit is engineered and tested to deploy correctly with your vehicle's side airbag system. Without that certification, a cover can interfere with airbag deployment — that's a real safety risk, and the reason we install Katzkin exclusively.
How long does the install take?
Most installs are completed in one business day. Drop off in the morning, drive away in the afternoon. Larger jobs (three-row SUVs, some added comfort options or customization) may take two or three days — we'll flag this when you order.
Will it look factory, or like an aftermarket job?
Factory. Katzkin kits are cut at OEM tolerances for your exact year, make, and model. The covers follow the same lines and seams as the original cloth covers, so the result reads as if your vehicle came from the dealer with leather.
Will my heated seats / cooled seats / airbags still work?
Yes. We fully re-integrate all existing seat systems — heated elements, cooling, climate control, and side airbag deployment paths. Everything functions exactly as it did from the factory. We test each system before returning the vehicle.
What's the warranty?
Two layers. Katzkin's 3-year / 36,000-mile corporate warranty covers the leather itself — manufacturing defects, seam failures, color issues. Honored at any authorized Katzkin installer nationwide. Our workmanship warranty covers the install itself — if anything we did fails, we own it.
Can you do my older car?
Depends. Katzkin makes kits for thousands of model-year combinations going back to the late 1990s. The further back you go, the more likely we won't have a pattern for that vehicle. We'll let you know — and if Katzkin can't cover it, our custom upholstery option can.
Will it affect my resale value?
Generally enhances it. Katzkin is a recognized brand in the industry — used vehicle buyers and dealer F&I departments know what it is. A documented Katzkin install often shows up favorably at trade-in vs. unbranded leather conversions whose origin is unclear.
What if I want a color Katzkin doesn't make?
That's where custom leather reupholstery comes in — different service, also done in our shop. Katzkin's catalog covers most popular factory matches and many custom variations; if you're looking for something genuinely one-of-one, custom reupholstery gives you full creative control on color, leather grade, and stitch pattern.
Do you pick up the vehicle?
Dealer partners — yes, pickup is standard. For retail customers, drop-off at our Beaverton shop is the normal pattern. We can do retail pickup as a paid option, but you'll need a parking spot at your home or office for our runner's vehicle while we have yours.
