Carpet is the one surface that wears from underneath your feet and gets ignored until it looks bad everywhere. We replace it with factory carpet where that's still available, and with molded aftermarket where it isn't.
Factory carpet is cut to your vehicle's floor pan and fits the way it did when the car was new. Where the manufacturer still supplies it, that is what we use, and the result is simply the interior you started with.
Experience isn't optional. Part of it is knowing what a material will do before you commit to it.
For most older vehicles, factory carpet is no longer made. The answer there is a molded aftermarket carpet — ACC and comparable lines. These are moulded to a body style rather than to your specific vehicle, so the fit is close rather than identical. Seams, edges and the transmission tunnel are where the difference shows to an eye that knows to look. We trim and fit as tightly as the material allows.
On a vehicle whose carpet is past saving and has no factory part left, that is a genuine improvement — and the right call. We'd rather tell you what to expect before the work than have you find it afterwards.
Whether factory carpet is still available for your vehicle is the first question, and it drives both the price and the result. Send photos of the worn areas along with the year, make and model, and we'll tell you which path you're on before you commit to anything.
Better pricing than we could put in writing here.
